Ow.....

I have a splinter.

Under my fingernail. :c(

It's painful. It goes about halfway down my fingernail. I'm going to wait until it has enough (this is the part not for the faint of stomach) pus, and then pull it out. there's something about it being under the fingernail, I think, that makes you just not want to mess with it. It's not too bad though.....As long as I don't bang or squeeze (etc.) it, the pain keeps to itself.

Very definitely random

I like weather! Well, most weather, anyway. Wind (best!), rain, snow (don't get much), and ice storms can be fun. Cold weather without snow doesn't seem worth it, somehow. Hot weather is too hot to be much fun.
But wind. Yay! It's great!
Rain. Who says you can't go out in it? ;c) (Besides, it makes for cozy reading inside.)
Snow. Snowmen! Snow angels! Snow! (Please don't take that as a song cue, Raquel. Please! :c) )
Ice! it's slippery! You can sliiiiiide in it! Wheeeee! :c) (Or the power can go out. Candles! :c) )

Oh, I'm learning Elvish. Or trying to. I've been trying to glean it from the appendicies of LOTR, but now I'm going to look into learning it online. So that's all. :c)

Wow, I need to post.

This time I actually have news! We made sauerkraut. On Saturday. Not this last Sat. The Sat. before that. As I said, I need to post. :c) Anyway. Sauerkraut. You have to squeeze the cabbage to get the juices out. Hoo, boy, I don't want to think about. You squeeze and squeeze and squeeze, and then you get more cabbage and start all over! Well, at least I do like sauerkraut, so it's not like I did all that work on something I'm not going to eat.

Umm, all I'm thinking of right now. So farewell to my many (as if!) readers! :cP

Today I beaded my shirt! It's actually just a little spot up by the collar, but it actually looks pretty good, especially considering that I never tried beading before this, and anyway, it's just kinda cool! :-D So, anyway, how was that for a run-on sentence? ;c)
