As for the P&P movie, I personally thought it sucked, but then again, I'm a purist and a fan of the BBC miniseries. The proposal in the rain was a tad bit cliche in my opinion, not to mention some of the behavior of Lizzy was not in accordance to the book and the time period... and I'll just leave it at that because I could go on forever about how terrible the movie was... in my opinion.
